Data projects that feel clear all the way through.

We make projects predictable, not by following a rigid methodology, but by agreeing early on which answers you should be able to give. From there we keep the communication open, so you always know what's happening, what it costs and when it will be done.

What a project looks like

Four clear phases

Every project follows the same basic structure. Not because it's a requirement, but because it creates clarity for you and for us. You pay for answers, not for a delivery that merely looks finished.

11

Discovery

We start by understanding your situation: the business problem, current state and which business-critical questions you need to be able to answer. No technical requirements needed at this stage.

22

Scope & plan

Together we set scope, price and timeline, and which questions the solution must be able to answer once it's done. You approve before we start. The price stays fixed.

33

Build with visibility

We work in short iterations with regular previews. The entire build is steered towards those answers. You see what's being built and can influence it along the way.

44

Delivery & handover

The solution is handed over with documentation and a walkthrough. It isn't finished because it's been delivered. It's finished when you can answer the questions you bought it for.

Easy to get started

You don't need to have it all figured out

Most data projects stall not because of a lack of ambition, but because the starting point feels unclear. Where do you begin? What should you ask for? Do you even need a requirements document?

The short answer: no. Bring your business problem and the questions you want to be able to answer. We work out the rest together, and we stand behind the answers actually being there.

One business problem is enough

You don't need to arrive with a technical requirements spec. Tell us what isn't working, or which questions you want to be able to answer. You own the question. We help you shape it so it can actually be answered.

We help shape the scope

Based on your business problem, we help you prioritise and define a scope that is realistic, bounded and delivers real value, at a fixed price, with no unexpected extras.

You stay in control

Every important decision is made together with you. We drive the work forward and take the financial risk that the answers will be there. You always decide the direction.

Roles & responsibilities

What you do and what we do

You own the question. We own the answer. Clear roles from the start make the project smoother, and make it possible for us to stand behind what we deliver.

What we need from you

  • Describe the business problem and which questions you need to be able to answer
  • Be available for check-ins and questions
  • Approve scope, price and timeline
  • Contribute domain knowledge about your business

What Aubeco takes responsibility for

  • Turn your questions into a solution that can actually answer them
  • Propose and justify architecture decisions
  • Deliver the agreed scope at the agreed price, on time
  • Stand behind your ability to answer the questions you bought the solution for, or you get the fee back
Projects without black boxes

You should always know what's happening

The worst outcome in any data project is ending up with something you don't fully understand, or paying for a delivery that doesn't give you answers. We build for transparency, not to impress you with complexity.

Clear scope, fixed price

We define what's included, what it costs and what isn't included before we start. No unexpected extras for work you'd already ordered.

Early previews

You see the solution taking shape in real time, and watch the answers forming. Early previews give you the chance to steer things before it's too late.

Regular check-ins

Short, focused check-ins keep you updated and us aligned. You always know where the project stands, and whether the timeline is holding.

Handover included

Every project ends with documentation, a walkthrough and time for questions. You should be able to take over, and be able to answer the questions you bought the solution for.
